While browsing the web I discovered that Paul Gross Jewelers in Wisconsin Rapids chooses to offer everyday competitive prices instead of sales. Imagine that. The Kohls and Furniture & Appliancemarts of the world make their money by having a “sale” every weekend.
Their slogan is “if you don’t know diamonds, know your jeweler”. I like it.
Will that last in today’s internet driven, price competetive, less than loyal society?
I don’t wear jewelry, but if I did… I think it would be a great experience to shop in a Private Sale “after hours”!

Ok. Ok. So you are going to buy furniture online. Of course, it’s easier to shop in your pj’s from home (out of the cold). But there are other places to purchase from than overstock.com. There are a lot of places that have unique & quality things for great prices.
This is the game. Online retailers offer LOW pricing and *free shipping for the same price that your local furniture store will deliver it (AND SERVICE it) for. The ONLY value is that you didn’t have to brave the weather or shop in more than one store.
If your browsing for furniture online, email me if you’d like some more options or can’t find what your looking for. I’d LOVE to help. I’m a furniture online research fanatic.

You’ve seen this look in Pottery Barn & maybe everywhere else. You may have seen it as chair & ottoman, but this happens to be a recliner. Make it casual, lifestyle or rustic just by changing the leather.

I’m afraid as soon as I say this I will find something I like more, but for now …
This is my favorite bed. You can change the fabric & the finish if you like.

I just discovered my sad attempt at blogging is now a link on others blogs. YIKES! Not sure what I thought would happen when I put this up on the www, but thinking I need to put something interesting up. The PRESSURE is ON!
Have you ever listed anything on Ebay?
Kevin & I listed a grandfather clock that had been at Furniture Studio for almost 2 years. Great clock, but no one seemed to notice it. After a nerve racking 7 day listing, I’m satisfied with the winning bid. BUT… now we have to figure out how to get it to FLORIDA. Why couldn’t someone in Wisconsin or Illinois have been the highest bidder?
oh… and I apologize for the large pictures under the “White Family”. My husband (who does this stuff for a living, but doesn’t have the time to help me) informed me that the pictures load slowly because they are very large. Sorry! Maybe someday I will figure it out.
